Service Contracts

We are particularly proud of the quality and reliability of our products, which is reflected in the generous Manufacturers' warranties we have always offered as standard with each system sold.

Our moorVMS family for example, come with a three year warranty, with no requirement for annual service - Even our optic probes are warranted for six months.

However, a growing number of our customers (primarily clinical, but also clinical research) require enhanced Service and Maintenance contracts and/ or on-demand Certification Services to maintain and protect their Moor Instruments products both during and beyond the standard warranty period. This can help satisfy the demands of internal quality/ clinical requirements to prove the systems are working to specification.

In answer to this requirement, we offer four options: -

PLATINUM CONTRACT - On-Site Maintenance & Servicing. Includes an annual on site engineer visit for calibration, safety and functionality checking. Complimentary annual training session for up to 4 people. Fast on site response to any reported difficulties for repair or replacement of defective parts. Provision of loan equipment provided on site by engineer in the event of system failure to prevent unnecessary delay. Access to exclusive offers and upgrade benefits. This contract runs for one year, providing total peace of mind, regardless of whether the standard warranty has expired or not.

GOLD CONTRACT - Return to Base Maintenance & Servicing. Includes an annual on site engineer visit for calibration, safety and functionality checking. Fast response to any reported difficulties for repair or replacement of defective parts. Provision of loan equipment in the event of significant delay. The contract is managed by courier so some disassembly/ assembly will be required by the user. This contract runs for one year providing a high level of protection, regardless of whether the standard warranty has expired or not.

SILVER SERVICE - Return to Base Annual Check & Certification. Includes numerous checks and measurements to ensure that your product is working to “as new” manufacturers specification. Recommended if there are known faults with your product. Note: no extended warranty is intended or implied by this service, other than to the parts that are replaced in addition to the service.

BRONZE CHECK - On-Site Annual Check – Check of safety, calibration and function. Note: no extended warranty is intended or implied by this check.

A Certification of Compliance is provided after all services and checks to certify that the system is safe and functions to its approved specifications. 

This will satisfy your organisations quality assurance requirements for annual certification of electronic measurement equipment.

Please note;

Imagers, support stands, PC’s and printers supplied by Moor are all considered part of the system covered by warranty or contract. Printer ink and issues caused by third party software/ PC viruses are not covered by contract.

Bronze Check and Platinum Contract not available in all markets. Response times for contract repairs relate to working days only (not public holidays).
